Actually the Sean Connery thing is a running joke. Back when I was doing group therapy, one of our "exercises" was to talk about our "shadow side" or, what we think of as the opposite of our day-to-day face. I picked Sean Connery as my opposite, not so much because of what he looks like but because of his complete, total, and aloof confidence with the opposite sex. Just to look a woman in the eye and say "I want you" is all it takes.... LOL.
Trust me, I am definitely the opposite of Sean. Although I can quote him... and do the voice...
Still think I might be smitten - the voice is my favorite part of Sean Connery. My H even says he thinks Sean Connery's voice is perfect. (Uh oh - more competition for me) He does seem to ooooze confidence doesn't he - I would love to be the female version of that - just to walk in a room and own it. How sweet would that be?? Don't think it will ever happen. I would be more along the lines of Sandra Bullock in Miss Congeniality (prior to the make-over) - oops- bang - crash!!!!!!!!
Oh well - thank goodness we can live vicariously thru Diva & BBB.

Diva, I was using the words "advanced age" in a nice way...unlike YOU who said he might be OLD! You silly girl.
Anyway, since I am 52 going on 25, I can talk about advanced age.
Since I have not seen any of my school friends since I graduated in 1972, I sure am NOT EVER going to any reunion. I would probably have a heart attack or break down in either giggles or sobs. I know it would be too much of a shock for me to handle.
What a fun subject this hook-up has turned out to be! Can't wait to hear the ending!
Now in my eyes, I think my hubby is still the sexiest man on the face of the earth. However, Sean Connery, well sweet hubby of mine, I love ya to death......but......
Barisax if it's okay with you, can we call you Sean? Who cares if he's 76 and bald? Patrick Stewart is quite handsom, so is Yul Brenner. Remember him in the Maginifcant Seven? Quite the sexy guy was he in that hat!

About Sean Connery - uhmmm...yeah...I agree...and now I'm blushing. So - forget the blushing cuz you have no clue who I am and we could run smack into each other and have no clue....Other men that seem to be distinguishing themselves quite well with age? (or were???)...Harrison Ford and Donald Sutherland...and if we need to trade Donald in for a 'newer model' - well, his son really isn't half-bad either!
I do hope this BBB is terrific - and I hope we're not building expectations though! hehehe But I agree with earlier posts - this is a fun thread. It is obvious that it has been enjoyed by many!!!
