It's funny how much things have changed since I first came here. I have known for many years that even when it seems like the end of the world things get better and life goes on usually for the better. I have been genuinely happy lately. I don't think about my AH nearly so much any more definitely not on the obsession level I was at. I am afraid sometimes that I will forget and slip and take him back to do this whole ride over again and then I think I just don't want that. He's had his chance after chance after chance. Most of the time I don't feel bitter or resentful anymore, I just feel optimistic for the future and like it is wide open. I know one way or another everything will work out. I feel so fortunate to have sold that house, I feel mostly happy with what I have and not always wanting something more.
So I started the Atkins diet on new years day and have EVERY intention of rigidly following it and exercising daily and getting to a healthy weight. I know if I stay focused and strong I can do it. Last year I quit smoking. If I can get thru everything I have been thru I can make it past some measly sugar cravings for a month or two until it gets out of my system! I am determined. My birthday is next week and it's time for me to start making healthy choices not just emotionally but physically and spiritually too.
Also, gotta look good so I can catch that internet surfing lawyer boyfriend who doesn't mind that I already have 3 kids...;)

Who needs it? I wonder how much you realize how much you have grown and how much more you will grow if you just work on you.
I tell ya, I learned sooo much being on my own, raising my kids, going back to school,working full time and being celibet. Telling those boys to stay away from me. (c:

So, I went to history today, right? It's American Diplomacy since WWI. And this HOT Prof walks in, and I mean HOT. Well groomed, shaved, suit, tie, the whole bit.

Sorry, the last sentence was in reference to the post about the email from the A, just a continuation of the joke but you had to see the other to get it. LOL
