Remind Me of Something Wonderful

In the discussion of positive results of Al-Anon, one member told of now being able to love his Dad. I had forgotten that about me! Coming here, focusing on what is mine and help from my HP allowed me to love my Dad, too. I smiled when I read his message. What a relief it was for me to just love my own dad. I didn't have to judge him anymore or defend him or be ready to be ashamed, etc. All those useless things. I met my husband after I had made this shift within me, and he said the other day he's never heard me even hint at a criticism of my dad. That could not have been said before my shift. This is pure pleasure - and it allows me gratitude for the huge blessing my dad was to me. Thanks for the reminder.       Jill

Thanks Jill.

Learning to love and clearing the space to love within us is a great leap forward in our program. Thanks for giving me hope today. (My insides are all deadened at the moment) This program has a lot to offer. I know that because I have seen it happen before.
