Vinny came out of surgery around the time the vets office closed. They told me earlier today that he was at the front of pen when they got to work. So that is a good sign. He did have some stuff wrong on his blood test not sure what yet. Anyway he had 2 hernia repairs & has drains & stitches. We might be able to see him Saturday not sure if we can bring him home yet.
I miss my Vinny man. We have a big mirror down at their level. He loves to look at himself. Vain little wise guy. lol
His name is Vincent Man Go. If he gets out of the fence, He is gone. A neighbor found him running down a 2 lane highway before dayllight heading into our small town (county seat). Tyson chicken has 18 wheelers running up & down all the time. They were not sure that they saw him. He is black & tan. They went back opened the car door & he hopped inside. We did put up signs put no one claimed him. That was in 2003 about a month after we lost our mini weiner female unexpectedly. So he helped us heal.
A few years ago, Our now friend Peggy told us she had returned Vinny to his real home many times. She told the owners they needed to put up a fence & keep him at home. They obviously never did. She does not blame us for keeping him. We guess him around 7-10 yro now.
This is good news. You blow me away. You have all these transportation problems, struggle financially,but Vinnie needs ya and you are there for him.
You are very special and Vin must be too.
I grew up with a very large wiener dog, Fritz. He peed on the pool table legs and growled at everyone.
Then one time these bad boys ran into my house and went to my room and they were in my underwear drawer! Fritz heard me yelling and screaming at them, he ran and chased them out and bit one of them! He was my hero.
I'm glad to hear that Vinny is on the mend. I have 2 Yorkshire terriers. My boys, as I refer to them, are my life. I love them dearly and can't imagine my life without them. So, you see... I understand and sympathize with what you are going through. Vinny has been in my thoughts.
