Your eccentric alanon sister

Ok here is the next step in my footwork.

If my A is not found, and I am well enough, I am packing up my horse, Chief, and we are heading to town.

Actually I will have someone trailor him over there. We are going to hit the streets and cause attention so maybe people will really take me serious and help us fine my husband.

If the paper won't do a regular story, they will do this. I used to pet and house sit for the owner of the paper... and the editor is married to one of my ex co workers...

If this is not footwork I don't know what is.

If he is found and straight, or drunk and back to his dark side, fine, I can let it go and cont. my life with out him.

If he is immersed in AA and staying with an AA person great, but he will at least have our phone number. And again I will just cont. on in my life.

When he is not going to see his mother, something is very wrong.

so that is my next step. Can't help it, I am a proactive person. I have to have the courage to change what I can. do the footwork and leave the outcome to our creator.

Besides it would be fun and it is where i grew up so there would be so many people to visit. I can park my horse behind my sons in the alley. it is all green and shady. Just roll out my bed and snooze....

You think I am kidding don't ya....

Love, debilyn cowgirl/country girl who will find her man dead or alive

That woudl definitely get folks to notice.

When I want to do something most people woudl not do..i ask myself. ..WHAT IS MY MOTIVE? Is it selfih? Am i doing it to punish another? AMi doing it for safety of others?  I had missed the previous posts about how long he's been  missing... The line that got me thinking most was he has not calle dhis mother and he always calls his mother. THAT to me is the part that would send me in action.

So if riding into town on your horse with a sign is what it takes for you to find him so you can let his mother know why he's not called her...YOU GO GIRL!

(((((((((((Debilyn)))))))))),

You go girl!  I  hope you find him alive and well.

I am wondering if one of the reasons he hasn't contacted his mother, is because he realized how bad she is for him and he doesn't want to go down that path again.

Love and blessings to you and all at Potter's Eden.

Live strong,

Karilynn & Pipers Kitty

oh debilyn i would love to live in the town when you come riding in looking for your man. what a strong and very brave woman you are. i have been out looking for my husband in the past. the police would never do a missing person's because he was a drug addict and would tell me he just didn't want to be found. so i would get in my car and drive around. and i would pray. i would ask god to please let me find him. whether for my sake or my husband's i don't know but the prayer always worked. i will say a prayer for you that it all works out. thank you for the love and support that you have sent me. your posts always keep me on the right track. good luck and much love

Aloha Debilyn!!

You paint an interesting picture for my imagination to play with.  Do I think you are kidding?  Not when I  use to travel 300+ miles on the long side from scooting from bar to bar to bar at hight speed thru town trying to find mine.  Once found her as a Jane Doe in the hospital where she had been for about 48 hours.  Alcoholics and addicts suffer soooo much don't they?  My attempts to control her made her suffer more.  I hounded her down also.  My kinda drama wasn't on horseback.  I liked fast cars, macho butt kicking attitude and intimidation and "See I told yahs!"  Couldn't figure out till I got into this program why all of the stuff I did NEVER worked!  Go figure!!

Simplest thing I did was leave out all the middle stuff and just go on with my life which was so neglected and which I held my alcoholic responsible for.   But she was addicted to alcohol and missing and I was addicted to her and missing too.

There were sooooo many other people including me trying to keep her straight and failing at it as bad as me that the only one not involved was her.  That's the way it is with the disease; a pure "compulsion of the mind and alergy of the body.  Never can be cured, can only be arrested thru total abstinence etc."

HP is already with him hope galloping up on them doesn't break the trance.

Might want to hitch up at a F2F meeting before leaving town.  Anyhow God speed and Bless

(((((HUGS)))))
