God problem

Just because we pray does not mean our prayers are answered immediately. you kept your side of the street clean and that is what should be important to you and is what is important to GOD.

The doctots time will come, the greed with get him and your honesty will pay off in the long run. Trust in your higher power, but remember he rewards us in his time not ours.

I think one of the things I had "learned" a long time ago was that when "God votes against me" what I mistakenly understood was that I had not done "enough" to "earn" his good will. In truth, If I do my best, God will do the rest.

I can only imagine how humiliated you feel right now. I can also imagine how discouraged and scared you feel. One of the other methods of recourse is to file a complaint against this specific doctor with the state medical board, his specific medical society, (for example, The Fellowship of the American College of Surgeons, if your doctor was a general surgeon; there's darn near a society for every medical specialty), where trained doctors and surgeons will investigate both your side and physicians claim. And no matter what the outcome, your complaint will be on the physician's record for ever.

Lastly, I want to emphasize that, at least the God of my understanding, didn't "act against you." I can imagine, however, how much pain you're in. Please hang in there. Call your sponsor. Keep going to meetings. Keep praying. And, if nothing else, write a grudge letter to put in your God box--write out everything you want to say to the Doctor, the Jury, the Judge, et cetera. And put it in your God box--a box, literally, where you turn over everything to your higher power.

I don't know much niki but i do know that God is not out to get you. You did the footwork and stayed honest , as for the doc well u said he lied . and as josey says his time will come. God gave man free will and sometimes we run into people who take advantage. Keep on focusing on your self. Louise

I'm sorry that you are feeling frustrated and hurt. Your HP is not out to get you, and has not left you. Even in the worst of time HP is there looking out for us. I have a hard time trusting in that still but it is getting easier. I wish you well, you're in my prayers.

I am so sorry you are feeling hurt and betrayed. Many times we feel that oaur prayers go unanswered. It is easy to think that God either didn't listen to us, or we wheren't seemed worthy. None of us can know our HP's ultimate plan. It is possible that your prayers where heard and are being answered in a different way. Our Hp does not let us down, it just remains to be seen what the plan is for us. Please have faith that things will work out in the end.

As for the Dr. He will face his own judgement in time. Ultimately we all answer at some points for the things we do in this life.

Nikki, I have a strong belief that God, whomever or whatever we perceive "him" to be, does not strike with a thunderbolt, making each of life's crises fair. On the other hand, He is not out to get you either. We have to be contented knowing that if we are the best we can be, and someone has sinned against us, that person will have to answer someday. If you were truthful, rejoice in the fact that you have nothing to answer for later.

This is my belief. No telling if I am right. None of us, in this life, will ever know whether we are correct or not, but someday we will have a complete understanding of the universe and God's (and our) place in it.

Now comes the difficult procedure of letting go. I hope you can do that, and you are in my positive thoughts and prayers.
