Monday, 10/30, C2C, Grateful member of alanon

The writer used to hear people say they were grateful to be involved with an alcoholic, because they were grateful to have found alanon.  You can learn many things in alanon, like gratitude and forgiveness are needed for peace of mind.  A tiny step can be a great step in seeing life with increasing joy.  The writer eventually felt that they were a grateful member of alanon.

This is my last post on MIP as there is no response from the general fellowship.  But I do want to say how grateful I am that I found MIP 12 years ago, which started my alanon journey.  Between Betty as my sponsor, and all of the wonderful members who shared their thoughts on the board, MIP has been an integral part of my recovery.  I am a very grateful member of alanon, and I want to thank all of you who gave ESH to help me along my way.  THANK YOU.  Progress not perfection, ODAT.  :)
