The material presented
here is not Al-Anon Conference Approved Literature. It is a method
to exchange
information, ideas, feelings, problems and solutions on a personal
level.
This is one of my favorite slogans. It reminds me that I don't have to be perfect, it's human to make mistakes, and yet I can look back upon my progress and feel good about that. Love this program!

I find this also very helpful in taking into account the actions and efforts of others; if I find myself judging the actions or efforts of others, this is a great slogan to lean on: I can humbly recall my struggles and missteps at times that I was truly giving it everything I had.
Effort and intent is not always apparent in outcomes, good to remember for myself and others
