Step work

I am new to this so forgive my ignorance.  I would like to work on the steps but the link to the step work board isn't working for me.  Is there someplace where I can go to start working the steps?

Another question, I have heard and read alot about sponsors, but there is no f2f meetings where I live, is an online sponsor a possibility?

Thank you for any responses, my one realization is that if I can't fix him, I really need to fix me!

Welcome Feelinghopeless,

Do you have any al-anon literature? Try getting a book like Al-Anon's 12 Steps and 12 Traditions. I have found this book to be a hugh help in understanding each of the steps. It discusses each one and gives a little story at the end of each chapter to illustrate how a particular step helped someone in the past.

Many people do have online sponsors yes. You might try coming into the MIP chatroom and asking for someone who would be willing, or just hanging out there at meetings and chat for a while to see if you might find someone there you would like to ask to sponsor you online. Or perhaps someone who reads your post here on the board might be interested in helping you.

Oh I believe the bookstore on this web site sells the books. Otherwise you can go to al-anon's wso site and order from there too.

Thanks for your questions, hope this helps.

Keep coming back!!!

David

I do have an AA big book, is that similar to the Al-anon 12 steps and traditions?

Thank you for your information.
