Hope for Today, Monday, 3/27, compassion requires patience

The writer discusses how difficult it can be to find compassion for oneself and others, and especially for "certain people." We have to look past anger and rage for kindness.  We need to
let go of resentment from unrealistic expectations.  We should ask ourselves, How Important is It?  Compassion means accepting and loving ourselves and others as we/they are.

Thought for the day:  Patience in my recovery will lead me to compassion.  How can I practice patience in my life today?

Quote:  Compassion and understanding on my part can have the power to heal...

Honestly I need all my tools to have patience and compassion for my A.  Frequently used when talking to myself are:  focus on myself, bless them change me, live and let live, let go and let God, easy does it and keep it simple.  That's just to name a few....!

Thank you Lyne for your service/ESH. Compassion means accepting myself and others as they are hit home. Today's C2C also made me aware that I have overlooked seriously studying/ applying Al-Anon traditions in my relationships. Thanks for opening my heart. Have a wonderful day.

Thank you Lyne for your service, todays reading and to you, Daffodils and TT for all your ESH.

I do stay open to my HP's guidance when it comes to patience and compassion under stress.

The one question I ask myself is if I do or say anything will it make a difference? Knowing

what I learned about alcoholism the answers will guide me appropriately.
