The writer discusses how difficult it can be to find compassion for oneself and others, and especially for "certain people." We have to look past anger and rage for kindness. We need to let go of resentment from unrealistic expectations. We should ask ourselves, How Important is It? Compassion means accepting and loving ourselves and others as we/they are.

Honestly I need all my tools to have patience and compassion for my A. Frequently used when talking to myself are: focus on myself, bless them change me, live and let live, let go and let God, easy does it and keep it simple. That's just to name a few....!
