In Memory of Betty 7/30/1937 to 2/29/2020

"On the death of a friend, we should consider that the fates through confidence have devolved on us

the task of a double living, that we have henceforth to fulfill the promise of our friend's life also, in our

own, to the world." ~ Henry David Thoreau

Betty you are always in my thoughts and your memory lives on.

Betty lives on within me as she taught me invaluable lessons, with so much compassion, that it made some positive changes easier. Compare=Despair, QTIP, Humility=quietness of heart, seeing assets, etc., have just stayed with me and always will. I cannot describe the impact she had on me after 7 yrs of her sponsoring me. What a humble, amazing human being, filled with grace. I'm sure she is helping people up in heaven. Love, Lyne

I have not been in these message boards for years but have attended Alanon over the years. Betty was a wonderful human being. I even talked with her in the phone many years ago. I am still friends with her on Facebook but she didnt post a whole lot. I was sorry to hear about her death. She was very helpful to me in times of need since both of us had children with the disease. I was happy to see the life she was having several years before her death. The pictures of her and her man showed how happy she was. Im sure she is missed by many
