2/7/23 C2C One Small Step, and a Guarantee

Regardless of circumstances, we have the capability to take at least a small step towards a positive result or feeling notes this writer.

This can be an action in the program, for someone else, addressing a health or emotional need of our own, something we fear, something that will recharge or stir our thoughts. Endless possibilities...

Reminder: With endless possible actions that lead to positives for self and others, I need not focus or even think about what I can't have or do.

"To improve the golden moment of opportunity, and catch the good that is within our reach, is the great art of life." -  Samuel Johnson
-----------------
What I focus on is what I see, what I look for is what I will find. It is a huge help for me to start my morning off with a program concept because it calibrates my lens.

My thoughts and actions are the only things I can control.  When I allow my mind to drift into the have-nots and can-nots, I find that is when I slip into unhappiness.

Taking just 15 seconds to grab a list of gratitudes or make someone else feel good with a compliment is simple, free, and works every time. When I keep these actions as my goal, I guarantee good moments in my day.

Grateful for the reminders

Thanks for your service Paul and share. Today's reading offers so many great suggestions and refers to them as quality of life suggestions. I'm grateful for the reminder that when performed, these seemingly simple choices and positive overtures can offer physical, emotional and spiritual rewards. I thought of our slogan Keep an Open Mind as I read today's reading. The reading reminds me that participation is the key to harmony - harmony of mind, body and spirit.

Thanks Paul for your service and for all above wonderful ESH. I'm reminded of a phrase I believe I learned on this board: What you focus on the longest, becomes the strongest. After coffee and breakfast, I stop in for my morning dose of MIP. It's the best way to start my day. Grateful member always.
