Seasons greetings

Seasons greetings to those of you I already know and also to those of you that I don't know yet. I've spent the last few days at various gratitude meetings, some in this fellowship and some in other fellowships, some online meetings and some in-person meetings. A meeting is a meeting, right. I find that making a gratitude list or just talking about gratitude will almost always chase away any feelings of self-pity or otherwise negative emotions. I was told a long time that gratitude is not about having everything I want, it's about wanting everything I have. My sponsor always told me that gratitude is an action word and that one of the best ways to show my gratitude is through sponsorship or by sharing with newcomers about everything that God has done for me that I was not able to do for myself.

Sorry I'm not here as much as I should be. Hope everyone had a great christmas and I wish you all the best in 2023. My wedding anniversary is new year's eve. We got married in 1999 on the eve of the millenium. I didn't realize it at the time but whenever I need to know how many years I been married, I just need to know what year it's going to be and then I have my answer. Ergo, it's my 23rd wedding anniversary.

Thank you, Wolfie!! Happiest of Anniversaries to you and your spouse!

With each day that I focus on my Gratitude List, I get the affirmation that it can pull me out of being so sad for the things that I have lost.

My favorite thing that I have ever heard "in the rooms," is "Gratitude is not about having everything I want, but wanting everything I have." Thank you for the reminder.

Wishing you good health and the love of family & friends in 2023!

&
