My song for today

I've dealt with my ghosts and I've faced all my demons
Finally content with a past I regret
I've found you find strength in your moments of weakness
For once I'm at peace with myself
I've been burdened with blame trapped in the past for too long

I'm moving on

I lived in this place and I know all the faces
Each one is different, but they’re always the same
They mean me no harm but it's time that I face it
They’ll never allow me to change
But I never dreamed home would end up where I don't belong

I'm moving on

I'm moving on and last I can see
Life has been patiently waiting for me
And I know there’s no guarantees, but I'm not alone
There comes a time in everyone’s life
When all you can see are the years passing by
And I have made up my mind, that those days are gone

I've sold what I could and packed what I couldn’t
Stopped to fill up on my way out of town
I've loved like I should, but lived like I shouldn't
I had to lose everything to find out
Maybe forgiveness will find me some where down this road

I'm moving on

I'm moving on

Written by D. Vincent Williams and performed beautifully by Rascal Flatts.  This describes the way I feel standing on the edge of another huge change in my life - changing jobs. But this time I feel so positive about the change and know HP's holding my hand and leadin the way.

Love you all,

Regina

Good Luck to you my dear friend, not that you will need it.  You will be just fine and will endure the change just as you have so many times.

That is truly a beautiful song, txmom.  It gives me chills.  Don't forget, (as Christy mentioned), that God blesses our broken road, and makes us whole again.

Love in Recovery,

Regina,

That's one of my favorites too ~ you go girl!  We are all in your corner rooting "Go Gina, Go Gina."

You are going to do marvelous.  You are working it and you are worth it.  Rrb is proudly looking on.  Break a leg

love Maria

Remember my dear as you are making your journey that you have your higher power walking along with you. You also have friends walking every step of the way with you...some you know...some you don't....but they all love you and wish the best for you. And when it gets tough and something it too hard to handle alone...you can send HP in beforehand and follow afterwards. Love you hon, SenoraBob
