Praying for a Miracle

Hi all,

Well as I shared in the meeting last night, my car broke down on the way to church. I was ok, My "A" said it could only be a few things that could have happened like a fuel filter or fuel pump replacement.

Well today he came back from the car with a cup full of water that smelled like gas. Someone poured water into our gas tank. Nothing else is wrong with the car, so my "A" says that is the only thing that could have happened.

I don't know what to do. I can't afford a new car. My "A" says that more than likely the car is toast. I make just enough to pay the bills. There is no way we can afford to buy a car. Not a chance. Even if I could qualify for a loan, I couldn't afford a payment.

I am trying so hard to have faith. I am trying so hard to believe that there is a plan. Right now all I can see is red. Someone hurt my car on purpose.

I have called the cops, but all they can do is take a report. Well that is done.

I am praying for a miracle. But losing hope fast.

Much Love,

How horrible some people can be!

I wish I could say more, but hopefully there is a way the car can be fixed (I know nothing about cars) or HP provides you with a way to get another one.

Hang in there, you are in my prayers that things wirk out ok for you.

Hey Dolphin, Hug to you!

I happened to be reading your post as my stepdad was sitting near by. He's a mechanic and has some ideas of what you may be able to do. PM me if you'd like to talk to him he would be more than happy to give some ideas. I hope there is a fix to the car!

Oh Jeez .... I just walked away from my post thinking ... what is said here stays here. I reacted instantly as I always do about a car issue by asking him what you would do if you had water in your gas tank. No personal information, The fact remains though I should have asked if you wanted me to ask him first. I'm sorry.

I may be very new at this program... but I know cars.  This IS advise, but I don't think it counts... LOL

There is a chemical (fuel additive) used in boats to seperate water from gas.  You should have someone drain your gas tank.  Fill it with fresh gas and this additive.  It will clog your filter if there is a bunch in there still.  Replace the filter and try it again.

Unless there is something else in the gas tank than water this will work.  Water can't ruin a whole car in and of itself.

PM me if you want more details.

Take care of you!
