Todays reading focuses on the Third Step which says that there are times that we need to "turn our will and life over to Gods care."

The author discusses how when a family member was faced with a dire medical issue, how they felt they knew better for them.

In the process of that struggle they found they did more harm than good because it was realized that their own "limits of understanding"

caused much fear and anxiety.

We are asked to remember that we are not all knowing and that accepting our own limitations helps us to be free to rely on our Higher

Power to handle those urgent times.

Quote:  "Time will change and even reverse many of your present opinions."  "Refrain, therefore, awhile from setting yourself up as a

judge of the highest matters." ~ Plato

I find myself in this type of situation on many occasions these days.  My AH had a collapsed lung operated on the beginning of July

and my parents are struggling medically, due to advanced aging.  Relying on my Higher Power and taking a step back has been

very helpful in handling the stress.  My HP has got this!!!   smile

Thank you for your service and share Debbie. Letting go and letting God has become a source of comfort to me. My life is complicated (like most) and if I did not have my relationship with HP and all the people and tools from program, I would be a very lost soul. Always grateful member.
