information, ideas, feelings, problems and solutions on a personal
level.
I have just submitted the last assignment for my degree. I already know that I have passed. I'm telling you guys about it because man, it's been a crazy long road but I truly don't believe I could have pulled myself together well enough to finally get here without al-anon. In truth, there's a pretty good chance I wouldn't be alive if I hadn't found al-anon and finally learned to value and protect myself. So, thank you all for being a part of my journey. I'm so happy right now!

At the beginning, the road seemed impassible, the goal too lofty, but because I felt I had no alternative I was willing to start walking... As long as I keep coming back I continue to grow, imperceptibly in the moment but undeniable when I step off the trail to survey the view from where I currently stand.
So powerful and humbling to feel the gratitude of the gift of spiritual evolution, knowing I have not yet reached the peak if only I keep coming back...
So happy for you, all contributors here, and all in the Alanon family for the blessings...
