Participation is the key to Harmony

Just finished chairing an alanon meeting, on zoom. I mentioned this in one of my shares that when I originally started attending that meeting, I felt like an AA member going to an alanon meeting, but over the past year or so they have made me feel very welcome. One member gave me a little push and I started chairing meetings. Now, I feel like an alanon member attending an alanon meeting. I hear they're having elections soon. I might even let my name stand for one of those positions. Time will tell.

Wolfie55, so happy for you that this zoom group is working well for you!

Good luck with a possible position and election process as well!

Good for you Wolfie! I can totally relate as I arrived at recovery also through the 'back-door'. It took me a while to feel like a contributing member to each/both. Love and light - keep doing what you're doing...looks great on you!
