 aww Through the lock-down period I have realised that I am no longer a newcomer.

     I think I always had a newcomer spirit. Eyes wide open. Sparkling sometimes.

     I think that laughter comes much easier these days.

    In my F 2 F group there is an older timer who has as many years in Alanon.

    She had a major breakthrough- in her recovery in recent times- and was so

    excited to share it.

    She was openly grateful that I was able to sit in on the group when she was away.

    Because she is a member of a next door group to the one I came through, the group

    shares very similar characteristics.

    In our neck of the woods we usually all share our own Step One when a newcomer

    comes along.

    Spent the day helping a daughter and sil shift into their new home. Older daughter

    and family too came along to help.

    Tiring, but a good day's work. aww ...
