TID BITS OF WISDOM_MONDAY

I am never alone
never abandoned
never deserted
never judged
never chastised
and never without Gods aid.
--Shelley

"As a deer longs for flowing streams, so my soul longs for you, O God.
My soul thirsts for God."

Those who are lifting the world upward and onward are those who encourage more than criticize.
--Elizabeth Harrison

Correction does much, but encouragement does more.
--Goethe

Words to live by are just words, unless you live by them. You have to walk the talk.
--Cited in BITS & PIECES

Handle them carefully, for words have more power than atom bombs.
--Cited in More of...The Best of BITS & PIECES

The real art of conversation is not only to say the right thing at the right time, but also to
leave unsaid the wrong thing at the tempting moment.
--unknown

We are never so lost that God can't find us.

**** yea, back in the hell  hole, it was all about correction, violent correction...now I get encouragement from safe people...it sure brings about my willingness to change more...my self care program is all about , yes, discipline, but gentle encouragement as well

***I always look at a person in that do their ACTIONS match the WORDS??? If they do not, I put some distance...Trust will always be the key deal maker or breaker in any close relationship of mine...Trust is vital for me...

Handle them carefully, for words have more power than atom bombs.

****Oh yea, the tongue is sharper than the sword...How many times , NOW, anyway, have I had to pause and pray and BREATH before I open my pie hole and say something that cannot be "un-said"

The real art of conversation is not only to say the right thing at the right time, but also to

***Yep...I need more work on this, but progress is there...I use , MUST use the pause and pray AND Breathe exercise to make sure I don't blow away someone with whom I could have sorted things out had I not been so ugly with my tongue.....
