The material presented
here is not Al-Anon Conference Approved Literature. It is a method
to exchange
information, ideas, feelings, problems and solutions on a personal
level.
That is for my wife who is an Al-Anon member and worker of the program also. She wanted to keep the info anonymous but isn't my Higher Power I get to spill the beans now and then again later just to let her know I am still in the house and family and a recovering man to deal with...LOL We celebrate the same month and have so much support in our recoveries such as you all are for me.
Birthdays are evidence for us that we can do happy without doing HOPPY. We will be with family later on and I know where the booze is without fixating on it or wondering has it changed for the better knowing for me the answer is uh uh no.
I have made amends to family and friends by not representing the possibility that "Just one" could/would be okay. I soundly believe everything I have been taught in recovery and voice of my Higher Power.
I will not hug her not because of the smell or imbalance but because of the Covid. Everything I do today will have the program laced into it. Mahalo (Thank You) Recovery, Wife and Higher Power. (((((hugs))))) Share a smile with us please. It works when we work it.
"Everything I do today will have the program laced into it."
A good way to "be," I believe.
Enjoy the day!

My temptation to give into being reckless, thoughless, judgmental and doing things that contribute to my illhealth are always there. They live on the tip of ny tongue
I neex to work hard in being hapoy with what I have. For ne that is a revelation
