I've always loved writing and receiving handwritten letters too. There's nothing quite like sitting down and reading one that comes in an actual, physical mailbox.
It was nice of you to send a card to someone that I'm sure needed to feel cared about .Sadly, many people don't do that and don't realize how important it is.
yea, David, a nice handwritten letter, its been a while since I saw one....its all email and text now, but I did get some nice birthday cards wiht notes of love for me on them.....tho short, I savored each one of them...its like they WROTE on them and hence gave me a teeny part of their hearts...
I love snail mail and still send letters and cards all the time. My sons mother in law lost her husband about two months ago. Im sending her a card a week for awhile, and I did this for my personal friend who also lost her husband. Those grieving seem especially grateful for the cards.
