UPDATE on my BFF

WEll, we might have gotten some good news:

its the small cell cancer,  and the easiest to treat....

PILLS if the insurance company pays for them and it much easier on her body...it supposedly dries up the cancer or shrinks it down...so much info , I got a bit confused, but they are like 4 capsules per day and regular monitoring for possible heart/liver issues, but MUCH easier on the body....

so the doctors are pretty hopeful that they can get this shrunk down.....

they will call her next week for appt. to begin the treatment....PRAYING that the Blue Cross Blue Shield pays for the capsules....

thank you all for your prayers....we really appreciate it.....

Small Cell is certainly the better choice Rose! It does sound good for recovery for your friend. I'll keep you both in my prayers - for peace, comfort and a positive outcome! Thanks for sharing!

Thats FANTASTIC news! Every person & story is different, but have hope. My father did the pills & responded phenomenally. The docs said it was a miracle. And Im blessed to know the miracle maker :)

(((((((((((((((((((Iamhere, TT, Crmans))))))))))))))))))) thank you friends for your prayers...Kerry says thank you as well...I told her about this site and all the massive prayer we are getting and she made me promise to thank you all..

Iamhere, yea, thank God its the small cell type...Kerry said there was 3 types??? well, hers was the least lethal thanks so much for your prayers...........AND I'm sending your mom prayers for continued recovery....How is she doing????

TT, yea she sounded SO much better tonight...Hopeful...we are giving it to God....

Catherine, thanks..I feel better than I have of late, hearing it is the "least lethal" type cancer...and yea, I hear the pills are really effective...We are praying insurance will pay as they are VERY expensive, says Kerry...and Catherine, I am glad your dad did so well....

You all be SAFE and WELL...

Yesterday, I was kinda processing some grief over the virus and worrying about Kerry, sorta just processing, but today I am OK..Did a church mate's tax return, had a good chat with roommate, and Kerry's news about they CAN help her with this cancer, made me feel that hanging onto God, there IS hope....

The issue with te cancer is whether it is localized or has soread That woukd be the letter L after the type You could ask your friend this Certainly there are some people who.do well with cancer There are no guarantee's I say that as someone who has lived on borrowed time. As a teenager I had a kidney disease. At one point I was not expected to live Then as an adult I.had sepsis (60% mortality) At the same time I also had a realky bad asthma attack I alsi now believe I.survived Covid I.also attempted suicide one time That is a lot of near misses How many near misses does one person get. There are no guarantees for any of us anytime Maresid
