Step 10 and gratitude...

 smile Hi y'all...

it is sweltering hot here- summer has come at last! After doing the steps 6 or 8 times, I think becomes second nature, in the end... a sort of please~sorry~thanks~ routine.

This weekend my SO and I went to a rowing regatta. Well rowing is a sort of elite sport... and yes, we have two grandkids who are rowers...

...the regattas are held about 90 mins away over a mountain pass. And held on a lake, of course.

Grand-daughter, and her crew had a first place- in the quads. A significant milestone for her. The great commentator Dr Brene Brown has eight grandparents for his kids. Eight! We could not match that- and there were six there at the regatta.

To top off the weekend our we black bantie hen had two chicks today. So far, they are doing well- a trying time! :)

Thanks for reading- hoping your weekend is going well... awwawwawwawwaww...

What a wonderful week end you are having David! Congrats to your grand-daughter and fantastic news that you have two new chicks as well!
My week end is going well, we are now cleaning up 3 inches of snow that fell last night, but it is a beautiful morning and it is always so pretty after a new snowfall.

Thank you for your gratitude update!!

I try to look for gratitude everyday. In my early program days, it was such a difficult task. Now years later, its so easy to find gratitude in both big and little things. I laugh at more things, including myself when appropriate, and I always find great joy in my two dogs. Life can be good, no matter what the alcoholic is doing. Lyne

Having and living an attitude of gratitude...it's easy when you are healthy, and living a life of recovery.
