my 1st post of the new year!

I just getting around to posting this year. Lol. It is only January 2nd. I am so grateful that I can still type. It seems trivial in some ways but I am sitting here w/ painful hands. My joints start to act up & I can't keep up. I hope that I can do better or feel better in the future. Anyhow, I am grateful that the new year is here. In some ways last year was very sad & difficult. I think after I went to see my mom in May, I should think again about going to see her. That could spare anxiety, stress & almost a total breakdown. I don't know if I mentioned this before. My anxiety level has grown since she went to assisted living. I still have memories of when I emptied out her apartment over two years ago. Mostly now because the state wants me to clear out her storage. She wants me to sell the things that are worth something. I don't see the point. And, for my overall mental health, I am not having a yard sale. It is winter here too. Can you believe it? The nerve of my mother pushing me after all that I have already done for her. I hope when the state calls me, I have a proper answer for them. Please pray for good results for me. Right this moment, I am only thinking of myself. I just want resolution.

In service, Kathleen

Happy New Year Kathleen...all the best for health and happiness.

I too have a medical condition which impacts my ability to write. Thankfully, it does not impact my ability to type, at least not to any major extent. For work, I dictate a lot of memos, letters, etc., whereas I used to write and type them. My paperwork is now done with PDF fillable documents. All good.

That said, yes, be grateful, each and every single day. My thoughts and prayers go out to you.
