C2C Reading 12-31

the C2C reading for today, 12-31 speaks about  the end of the year and the  importance of taking the time to review the year and contemplate our progress  We can then thank hp for our  success and review what we did to contribute to  our success.  We  will discover that we do play an important ROLL  IN OUR RECOVERY--  EACH meeting   attended or  chaired, each alanon  call handled , every step practiced Brings US  closer To OUR recovery.

we are learning to treat ourselves as valuable and are coming to believe this.
Happy New year ALL

Happy New Year, Betty- to you, and M. aww...

I attended a meeting last night- and there were three of us there. As one member said- it gives us all ample time to share.

This meeting here, and group, is much like an Alanon college... the wisdom found here is a credit to the members... and for me,

there is always something new to learn! smile ... aww Thanks.

Thanks Betty for your devoted service and both shares. I couldnt agree more that to take a review of the past year, see what worked and what didnt, plan for taking positive action in 2020, all will help me recover and grow. I feel happy to keep working on me, and grateful for all that program has brought to me.

HAPPY 2020 TO ALL! Lyne

I agree with the daily... a review of the year can be a very good thing as it relates to our recovery. What has worked, what needs changing? Identifying how our needs are evolving.

After work, a quiet night at home tonight. So a review of myself and my recovery sounds like something good to do!

I hope everyone enjoys these last moments of 2019, and I am wishing more blessings are showered upon you all in 2020!!

For me, it's a constant and never-ending effort to be happy, healthy, and live a happy and healthy life. I strive to live each and every day with integrity, honor, class, and dignity...and Step 12.

My sponsor has me do an annual 10th step every December. I find I really enjoy the process and seeing how I've grown. I should actually look back over PAST years findings and see how I'm doing compared to those! I do know I've grown so much and I have Al-Anon to thank for it.

Have a safe New Year's Eve - for those of you with challenging family members, remember to check if there's an Al-Anon or even an open AA meeting going on nearby - AA usually has 24-hour alc-athons during New Years. Remember you're not alone. Get yourself surrounded by people in recovery. If you don't have such challenges, get to a meeting anyway as maybe someone really needs to hear what you have to say tonight.

As for 2020, I hope you all have a wonderful year full of amazing growth in your program and lots of gratitude.

Thank you Betty for your service and the daily! Thanks to all for your shares and ESH. I drove my parents to the airport this morning, and they've returned safely home. While I always enjoy their visits, this one was tough and I am doubly excited to move back into the master BR! Worked all morning to do so, and took a lovely nap.

I am always excited for a new year. There's no particular reason other than it feels exactly like a new day. There's a clean slate and together with the God of my understanding, I get to decide how it unfolds, one moment or day at a time. I believe the only way forward is to use the past to assess what's working in my recovery and life and what could be improved.

So, with gratitude and anticipation for what's next to be revealed, I wish each of you a Happy New Year! Love and Light to all and may you bring in the New Year with peace and joy in your heart...
