Posted this as part of my last, but I do want those of you who have been praying for me and pulling for me to know..
I got the best news yesterday. All clear and nothing scary in residence. And I don't have to have radiation.
Thank you all--I know the prayers and support made all the difference. And it sustained me yesterday when things got more than tense around here. I couldn't think, but I called one of my nurse friends who can and she did it for me. And I did what she said and was able to keep my appt. with the surgeon for follow-up. I am so grateful the nurse here led me to her. She's a life and mind-saver. I'm sure I will be followed closely enough
Bless all of you! May all of your outcomes be as positive.

I'm not sure about the good people part. Was talking to my friend Tina, who is about the closest thing to an angel I've ever met. She has been so much more than a neighbor to my sister--has cared for her out of love. And she's worse off than all of the rest of us put together. She has degenerative bone disease--in her early 60s and is in constant pain.
So anyone who would like to pray for her, I would appreciate it very much, as would she. She's doing all she can to take care of herself and is to be reviewed for home help. I'm going to help her with an agency here in the meantime, if she'll agree, when she's up to discussing it. Our family owes her so much. And she's a delight--laughs easily, prays for me and tells me how loved I am. Is a bright spot in everyone's day.
Bo, I kind of kidnapped your post for Tina. Didn't think you'd mind. Oh--and not that it matters, but she's lovely. Looks something like a young Katherine Hepburn.
Blessings!

The good things that happen take on different forms...forms that we may not see, recognize, or understand. Good things happen to good people...and not only might we not see them or understand them...but the recipient may not either.
Be patient. Believe. Have faith.

God, grant me the serenity...to accept the PEOPLE I cannot change...the courage to change the ONE I can...and the wisdom to know it's ME...
(((Temple))) - love, love, love the update! My heart is smiling - thank you for sharing your news with us! I've added Tina to my prayer list, and still have you and your hubs there as well. Huge healing hugs my friend!

Have to admit I laughed out loud Temple!! I looked down, and because it's December (winter) and we decided to golf in December, I've got 3 pairs of pants and 3 shirts on....Certainly no wings and certainly no halo but I do have a visor on....I look like I'm ready to go sledding yet spent time trying to swing a golf club dressed as described...(((Hugs))) - I'm going to go about the rest of my day believing my visor is a halo - why not - eh? (((Hugs)))

Well Temple - it was one of those moments where one probably had to 'be here' to get it! I just found it so darn funny that I had a small break, sat to read a bit @ MIP, and then got to your post...I can tell you I am really, really glad I made the time to play golf yesterday - it's darn cold here today and we have snow coming tomorrow! Urgh - winter/snow are so not my favorites!
