First things first...

One of the sixteen Alanon slogans- conference approved.

I used to fear saying the wrong thing- that someone would jump down my throat. Because that was a predominant fear in my FOO. Had to be constantly on my guard. I try hard to stick to Alanon policy- and sometimes I try far too hard!

Another slogan is:- "How important is it!" Sometimes I do get off track and this is a great question. Sometimes it is important to stay in line. But not in a rigid way.

I love this group- because it combines a whole heap of Alanon experience. There is strength in unity. And there is talk around what works best. None of this "my way or the highway".

Looking forward to next year:= ...is about Tradition 5 for me... ... and the steps, traditions, and concepts.

Concept 4: Participation is the key to harmony. More important than getting things exactly right. We have the right to be wrong- and the need to learn. The love and peace of the programme will take out the faults and wrinkles. After all- why else are we here??? biggrin ...

David--you are just something else, you know?

I admire your level of consciousness and that you remind us often of the Traditions, etc. And always make them interesting.

We have the right to be wrong--and the need to learn. Beautiful! One thing among many I love about the great Recovered is their tolerance.

Hugs,
Temple
