blessings just keep coming!

& I will take them. I am so grateful that no matter what, God I can handle anything. I am so grateful that this is gratitude month where I am from & it certainly doesn't hurt to be grateful. Even if you don't know what gratitude is or where it comes from, I can tell you that I learned to be grateful when I didn't want to or don't feel like it.

Back to blessings, I have been having a lot of blessings that I can see that I used to be blind to. One thing is my vision. I had such bad eyesight for so many years, that I was never grateful for my vision at all. Then, one day I was blessed w/ some money to pay for RLE on both of my eyes. It was like cataract surgery but mostly for vision correction. Now this is something I can never take for granted. I also had breast surgery for different reasons & I don't know if anyone knows this, but it built up my self-esteem & now I can look at myself in the mirror & not despise what I see & what other's see.

I think I cracked the code: It is a lot about what you see & how you perceive yourself. If you see something you don't like about yourself, sometimes you can change it. People may not remember what someone says, but they will remember how they feel. Is that right? & God doesn't make junk. We are all in his likeness. If I feel like dirt, that reflects on me not on our each collective Higher Power. I know that some times I preach & hope I don't offend anyone.

Some say that in life, they see things as coincidences or luck. Maybe if you are at a casino, you may find luck there. Maybe if you win the lottery there. But if your mind is set on the right things not the wrong things, you can use what I call blessings. I know that in my heart I am fortunate to have all that I have including my health & all that goes w/ it. It is all based on ME & how I look at things. This program has taught me a new way to live. I know that I don't always follow the program, but I am a work in progress. I am starting to feel differently about my focus. When I focus on the good things, most of the time good things things happen. When I take the focus off me, I can give to others.

Love & in service,

Kathleen

(((Kathleen))) - thanks for the lovely update and share! It reminds me of a good friend who has since passed who ended each/every share with, "It's all about the gratitude." He really lived what you describe here as I heard him share of health issues, job losses, death of loved ones, loss of home, pet, car, etc. - in reality, his life felt sad to me yet to him, it was just 'there' and when he stayed in gratitude, he had perpetual peace/joy... Glad you're part of my journey!

I too have been really focusing on my "Attitude of Gratitude."
My sponsor once told me, "It's all about reframing. Learn to reframe your thinking into something positive... it really does work!" I am finding more and more that she was right!

Also, I have always heard about that "Law" where what you put out comes back to you tenfold!

Thanks for sharing today!
