Well the first leg of the trip is done and we will do it again next week. 

We had such a good time. The kids are where they are suppose to be at the moment.  Our trip out involved a trip to Lambert's if you are in the area it's a must go to.  After having a great time there we went and met up with my friends and had such a fun time  The trip back with just my bf and I we had more fun .. stopped at a place called Uranus, MO .. LOL!!!  Sooo much fun and laughed like kids. 

OMGOSH we were exhausted last night and slap happy silly.  I'm still tired and poor BF works tonight. 

My son came out on Facebook and it is super low key so far no one has said anything and I'm really proud of him.  I'm waiting for the nuclear explosion.  I had a mini regarding money of course and I am angry.  It's not going to change anything.  He is doing what he does .. he decided to wait until Thursday to tell me he's on disability again .. he's of course going to send money and how much .. it's very frustrating.  I don't understand.  It's confusing and it hurts more because it's been 7 - 8 years.  He's remarried has another life and has no clue who his children are .. he's going to punish me because he's got issues.  I think for the first time in a long time I feel sorry for him. 

Anyway .. lots of good stuff and don't think I have put away my jeweled horns .. LOL .. I haven't and I can send a strong message without saying a word.

Got a chuckle out of Uranus, MO!!!! Too, too funny! Glad that all went well with the road trip and you got to laugh and enjoy your friends and the journey! Keep working it girl - it looks great on you.

Great news to hear, Serenity!!

I was wondering about you and your family and how you were getting along on your adventure!! I too, had a chuckle at your mention of Uranus, MO!! Too funny!! Just the image of you two cracking up about it made me smile from ear to ear!! I actually LOVE looking for funny city/place names when I travel...  Boring, Oregon, No Name, CO, and one of my favorites, Hell, Michigan!! I always imagine a little sign on a yard that says, "Welcome to my own little slice of Hell!"

Good for your eldest kid!!! Although I must say I had to do a double-take at your post... I thought you were talking about your Kid and money issues! LOL! I actually think you sound pretty darn healthy about your Ex. You are very aware that he is still "doing what he does." I think it is actually a huge step forward that you can find pity for your Ex... b/c it is very sad that he is still stuck and can't move forward in a healthy way. But you got this!

Enjoy the drive out to pick up kids & wishing it is a safe one for you all!!!
