When I was young, so much younger than today, I wore glasses. When I ran with the local street gang, I stopped wearing glasses because it wasn't cool and after all, I was trying to pretend I was someone I wasn't to get people to like me. In my twenties, I started wearing them again, but twenty years later they broke and I wanted to get new ones but by that time I had become a Crastinator. I was pretty good at it too. I was a Pro-Crastinator. Couple weeks ago, my doctor scheduled me for an eye exam. As a result, I got a prescription for glasses and since I'm now in my sixties, I got the prescription filled. I changed my avatar to show them off, but alas everything comes up sideways now.

Hey Wolfie - I turned my computer sideways and checked out your new avatar! Nicely done! I can relate to that pro-crastinator character. Good to see you!

Hi Wolfe. I can relate! I used to do a number of things that were not in my best interest, but I was trying to be accepted and/or cool. (Smoking cigarettes for ex.). With program under my belt, I no longer choose to be self-destructive. I want to be a best friend to myself. Why? Because I deserve it! Lyne
Wolfie - You gave me quite the chuckle this morning with the "Pro-Crastinator" bit! LOL! Thanks for the laugh!
BTW - I think the new specs look great!

I had taken a poll on facebook as to whether or not I went with Santa spectacles or more of a Clark Kent look. Superrman won the vote. Now I need to find a phone booth in the age of cell phones.
