H4T's today's daily reading speaks about the 3rd and 11th step. It said "learned in my study of Step Three that 'will' referes to our thoughts and feelings and the 'lives' refers to our actions. When I pray in accordance with the Eleventh Step, I am asking to know what thoughts and feelings God wants me to have and praying for the power to translate them into action."
Good morning, MIP! Betty, thank you for your service.
What a powerful reading for today! I'm meditating on the "power to translate them into action" today.

Thanks Betty and Skorpi-These are exactly my issues at the moment. I have been asking to know God's will for me regarding my marriage and then of course, the strength to carry it out. My radar has not picked up any God thoughts, as I have many times in the past. I have to wonder if no message means not to change anything right now? When I hear from HP it's loud and clear and there is not doubt in my mind. I am calmer and more at peace about my situation. Perhaps I need to accept ODAT for now and let go and let God. Working on patience! Lyne
Thank you Betty for the daily and for your service! Today's reading is powerful and one I refer to often. Recovery has helped me better 'see' the difference between my will and God's will and the are not the same. Looking within when affected by this disease can misguide us often if we aren't aligned spiritually. Thank goodness for meetings, a good sponsor and all the tools that we are given that recovery has given me a different way to be/do/respond than before.
Lyne - I have to say that patience (lack of) has always been difficult for me. In all areas of life, I struggle - answers, results, etc. I do believe that my new found 'hobby' of golf is a perfect teacher of patience. Hitting a little white ball with 3 other gals, and waiting my turn to hit again has been a challenge. I am so grateful that we are outdoors and get to see all the wonderfully lovely things in nature or I would loose my mind!!!
Love the ESH and shares above - and Miss Betty - I hope today is awesome for you - happy, happy Birthday! I am eternally grateful you are a part of my journey and sincerely appreciate all you do for MIP, recovery and for being a shining example of action in recovery. (((Hugs))) to one and all!
