C2C Reading 6-5

The C22C  reading for June 5 speaks about the 3rd Step--  Turning our will and lives over to the care of a Power Greater  than ourselves. .  The reading goes on to clearly remind us that this HP is filled with compassion and loves us unconditionally.i When we pray for guidance and become willing to turn our lives over the the care of this power we need to understand  in simpler terms we are turning our  will over to  the Care of  a Power untouched by this disease
We need to think of this power as a true source of power,d . love and support that surround us in our daily life  and I do not have to do anything to earn this just learn to be receptive to it

The very powerful Quote is from    Elizabeth Barrett Browning     God"s gifts put man best dreams to shame.

I love this page as it assures me that once I have opened m heart to  the love of HP  I will be able to provide this love to others-- how great is that ?

I loved reading, "... and I don't have to do anything to earn this just learn to be receptive to it."

It's odd that even this is hard to do, sometimes!
Thank you for reminding me, Betty!

Have a wonderful Tuesday everyone!

Thank you Betty for your service and the daily. Thanks also to you and others for your shares & ESH. I am so grateful that every time I tried to over-complicate this step (and others), my sponsor would gentle nudge me back to the 'simple form' - be open, be receptive, trust the process/program. I have never been a super patient person, so my crazy brain felt I wasn't good enough, smart enough, well enough to be graced by a power greater than I.

Yet, I have now found that to be untrue. I do feel unconditionally loved by my creator and have felt the same for self and those around me. It is in recovery that I can unconditionally accept what's going on around me, and keep my peace by placing my trust in what is is exactly what's supposed to be.

My friend with cancer is in surgery right now. I would love to 'foxhole pray' for my will, but am praying instead for God's will. It's not my job to question what's best in this scenario - my human experience and mind is too limited to understand what's really best for her. Godspeed to all today - any prayers you can spare are appreciated.

(((Hugs))) to all.
