Going insane

I am feeling at my wits end with a family member. I am supposed to be collecting someone from the airport right now as I have their car. Said annoying family member threw a tantrum and has taken off with the car key and no mobile phone. I am utterly powerless and the consequence will be no more assistance from the person supposed to be collecting. There's so much more to this story of course but I am really ready to walk away from something I've invested a lot into it. Its a serenity prayer issue of course and this woman is in the throes of burnout.

I hate letting people down. And I know what its like to be left at the airport when someone has your car. Its a hugely annoying slap in the face. I feel very upset.

((A41)) This is certainly unsettling. I am so sorry that there is no way for you to communicate with the person whose car you need to return?
Maybe you can call the airlines and ask them to page her-- It is worth the effort.

Sending positive thoughts and prayers your way

Thank you for the support. I'm still at home. I just feel so bad for the person I'm supposed to be collecting. I did ring the airport. Its a small place. I just feel so bad about this.

((A41))  remember that we are indeed powerless.   The serenity prayer helps and ask HP for guidance

Thank you Betty. The passenger just rang. I explained and apologised. She should hopefully be here soon.

Thank you all. Feelings are not facts I will try to remember. There is such a lot going on. Nothing is obvious and there are so many strong personalities at play including my own I must admit. Tomorrow will be better. xx
