On gratitude and faith.

Bit out of sorts so as per the subject line, I must remind myself of what matters. Today I am grateful for my true friends. I am grateful for the yard I'm sitting in with the tree and the grass and the birds singing with the blue sky. I am grateful for my able body. I am grateful for my sponsor. I am grateful for my life. What a blessing. I need to speak now on faith, because I tend to neglect it when I'm in between times. What exactly is it now at this time in my life? I really don't know. I can't currently differentiate between what's my will and what's my HPs. Is the fire within divinely aligned or is it just my very hard headed, full hearted force? I know that deep down the answer will come in the letting go. The letting go always is determined ultimately out of my hands. It's a strange thing to run on instinct. Instinct being for me a deep deep knowing which can get clouded if I'm emotionally out of balance. Self care, where is that at honestly? Nowhere to be found because I've dropped everything to obsess which is recipe for burnout and neglect. I need to work on that. Thanks for being here.

Good Morning IAH. What an inspiring post Thank You. I have always found that trusting my instincts and listening to the still small voice within was the next right action. Thanks for being here.

A4l - Thank you for this post!! I have been out of sorts and stressed this week, and I can quickly get on the Pity-Party Train when I am in this head-space. A couple days ago I too, wrote my gratitude list... it helped me get centered on what was "real" and "good" in my life.

I am grateful for this day that is finally feeling like autumn!
I love that I can hear the birds - despite all the street construction currently going on!
I am grateful that I have my eyesight... my mother is almost blind and each month she gets more depressed as she looses more sight.
I am grateful that my back is holding up and not giving me any current problems!
I am grateful for my son... who is a joy everyday... (almost!). LOL!

Thank you for helping me to get out of the negativity!!!!

(((a4l))) - I smile each time I see your avatar! I'm so grateful for the beauty of all I do not understand in nature/my surroundings. Gratitude and faith in the unseen/unknown carry me forward each moment of each day. I am beyond words grateful for Al-Anon, the fellowship, the teachings and the many miracles I get to see each day.

Love this post!!!

So good to touch base with you all. Wish we were in a physical room, it's funny how a net bond can nonetheless have such a space in ones life. I would love to have a cup of tea together with lots of chocolate biscuits. X
