Got to the wedding at four. It started at four. It was very simple and nice. My son had the biggest smile on his face when he saw his bride. She looked like a little pixie fairy. I always tell her I know she has wings hidden under her cloths.
Their two kids, his stepkids but I won't ever say that again looked so great and did great. They are HIS kids and MY grandkids.
thank you for your support. I walked in and sat in the back. then saw my friend since I was 13 and sat with her and her husband of 32 years. I had to basically stop hanging out with her. Her husband got sick of me always around. It was hard on me. We had been best buds so long.
It never was the same again. I don't open with her. She has had a blessed life.
anyway I popped out right after. my friend stayed and told me how the rest went. I am so happy for my son and daughter in law.
Well thank hp somehow the humor all comes out. Some day and sooner than you think, I am compiling all my Eden posts.
Somebody on here lit a fire in me. Telling me i needed to share them for people to feel happy and laugh. It is all true. Plus I like the idea of alanon being a big part of it all. Be an unusual alanon book eh?

Well I got some groceries. Came home and managed to drop one bag. Of course it had the four apples that were organic braeburn apples. There was one left after I felt around in the dark. Was partly eaten, sadly for me Sammy pig got two. Then later Estersue came around and I heard her munching in the dark. That would be four.
sigh. I had given A my dang light bulb out of my front porch light. The last tenants took or used all the bulbs remember.
Seems like whatever happens, whatever obstacle comes, Aism had something to do with it.
Well I gotta go to my swamp, well my bedroom. the frogs are just singing and singing. I cannot wait to make this pond permanent and have dragon flies and all kinds of bugs and birds and butterflys. I will plant it totally natural.
Of course a muscovy and his wife will have to come along. can ya neuter a duck?
Hugs Debilyn sure wish I was a fly on the wall when the crunching pig was in the background. At least you know they won't get contaminated by pesticides. Hp works in strange ways maybe it was his way of saying "With all the darkness around you there is still light and laughter". You made your son's wedding day special he will cherish it always. I relate to the having your loved ones lost (I'm an only child and most -well all have passed). Not sure how I will handle it when my son gets married someday. I admire your strength. I am happy to hear you went, I am sure your son was very happy mom was there -and then your friends too ... I can understand the anxiety from your previous posts, you made it thru -this too shall pass, and it did.

How great the wedding was a success. I am so happy. I have burned out many friendships living with the A. I did not know how to be in al-anon then. I do not burn out people anymore.
I know some people have no clue how it is to be with an A and how difficult it is to extricate oneself. I do what I can one day at a time.
I can also relate to the constant chaos around the A and how it always seems to be to help them and for me to sacrifice for them.
I am glad your pigs got a snack. I know the horses that live near me love the organic stuff. That was quite a treat!

I bet your son, new daughter and new grandkids where just thrilled to have you there.
Your love for them comes right through in your post. I pray they have many years of such love and happiness.
If you ever do write a book about your Eden, I'll buy it. The only problem is that my face and belly will probably hurt by the time I finished reading it, from smiling and laughing.
