Billy this might work better for your son and daughter dependent upon how they have been affected by your addiction. Al-Anon is for the friends, family and associates of those who's life has been affected by the compulsion and addiction to mind and mood altering chemicals which also alter the lives of others attached to the addict.
On the face page you will see the AA connection. Click on that and stick around and read their replies and offerings. Yes you can come here and read also. give it a try.
I am a member of both AA and Al-Anon and work both programs. (((hugs)))
I too am a double winner Billy and send you best of thoughts with your recovery efforts. Both programs suggest ODAT - great that you are reaching out!
Keep working it!
