i have always wanted to have an alanon camp out here. I have room for RVs tents whatever.
There is a river to play in and a great golf course right down the road. You can golf and have eagles flying over you. so cool.
There are so many pretty places to hike and just drive and look at.
Also must not forget the Goodwill here.
Wouldn't it be fun to go to the Face to face meeting? sigh. I am in Oregon and the stuff is usually over at the east coast. Plus I am not into hotels...
Oh karilyn I wish you could hear the frogs outside my bedroom sliding door. I am not kidding it almost hurts your ears they are so darn loud.
Which reminds me, a friend of mine was talking about all the frogs she kissed before she found her prince of a husband. Well I said well I kissed A LOT of princes and fell in love with the frog.
lol lol lol. and get this, I have a boundary I won't allow him to be homeless so he is staying in my rental and working on it. I wrote a check guestamating as to the total. Well he is drunk so I musta had enough left for him to buy booze as he is drunk. AND he is driving.
Here he is going to court the twentieth of april and going to jail and he is drunk driving now. I just kept doing what I was doing as he drove by.
So anyhooo thanks for the fun responses, you guys are so sweet and witty. I mean it, it really is therapy here. Maybe you guys could call it sick leave. going to camping therapy. Well why not???
This place is what I do for me. I was taking a nap after pulling up a half acre of dry bull thistle. A came in and was saying something about my dogs in my bed. I said knock it off this is MY family. These guys are loyal, fun, honest, always there, make me laugh, stay close when I cry, are always ready to play or work.
And yes i have a horse that would love to be groomed and trimmed and messed with. I French braid his tail all the time. I also have a piggy with hair over two feet long. You can French braid his hair down his back too.
Oh also when A came in he was telling me how he yelled f something or another at someone. The dogs all perked up. I said A!!!! Do not raise your voice someone WILL bite you!!! They will too. three of these dogs don't know him.
Well this is a strange post huh? from alanon venting to frogs croaking.
I finally don't feel anything towards the A. He was being a butt for a half second feeling sorry for himself. I refused to give him my meds. I said hey don't pull this crap the first night you are in my rental. You can always go sleep on your moms floor. He stomped off and did not say a word. lol
GAWD it feels good not to be upset. WEll I am sure the disease will find something to hurt me sooner or later. But for now serenity is all over and around me.

Sign me up for the first round of camp. Sounds like a perfect vacation for me and the kids, I don't do windows but will scrub pigs lol And the Good Will, I just went there tonight, that's a real perk in my book. I'm packing the bug spray, camp stove etc., will strap the kids to the top of the wagon (so I won't hear the bickering all the way across country) should make it in 5 -6 days. So much appreciate the invite
Well I don't like hiking but I love animals so I can have a granny nap in the barn with all the little furry friends while you Americans go for a walk. Just have to win lotto, get a passport etc. Life's only as hard as you make it hey? Luv Leo xx
Pipers Kitty and I are on our way! I love to hike and camp. I don't mind the sounds of the croaking frogs, rather peaceful at times, as long as they aren't in bed or in my tent with me!
Can't wait to come, nothing like nature to get your serenity back. I love to ride and will be happy any time to muck out your stalls. Maybe I'll borrow my friend's Clydesdale, shouldn't be too big as he's the runt of the litter! lol If you have any cows, love to milk them too. :cowtow: Hubby grew up on a farm, and I know he'd have a blast. That would keep him sober for sure!
Don't worry Leo, Piper and I will keep you busy! We can hitch up Debilyn's buggy and ride to town in style! As for getting across the ocean friend, start swimming!

My bull mastiff loves when my husband is gone for the night because she knows she will be in the bed. She's too funny as she has to get under the covers and put her head on the pillow!
