Courage to Change 11/3

Today's c2c reading focuses on the positive side of accepting and facing our defects and mistakes. It suggests that we ask for assistance to let go of our old negative tools such as self hate and impatience with ourselves and instead remember that our mistakes "prepare us to make more", ie we are constantly learning and growing and will never be "done" making errors or facing new challenges. Knowing and accepting this, then, how much better is it to face ourselves with love and humor rather than shame and loathing!

The reading reminds us that it takes courage to participate in life and that this always carries the risk of making mistakes. We ought applaud ourselves for continuing to try. It also suggests that when we stop making mistakes, it will be because we are "out of this world" which I think is an excellent way of looking at it.

"My higher power is the confidence within me that makes me unafraid, even unafraid to make mistakes". (As We Understand)

Good Morning MsM. thanks for posting this inspriing message. I found that when i finally understood that courage was simply fear that had said it's prayers i was first willing to admit that I was fearful and to then ask HP for the courage to live life. Love how program encourages action and points out that it is ok to make mistakes because we can always change our mind.
Love the principle that allows me to live with acceptance of life on life's terms. Thanks for your service Ms.M. I hope you have a lovely day.
