The material presented
here is not Al-Anon Conference Approved Literature. It is a method
to exchange
information, ideas, feelings, problems and solutions on a personal
level.
Shorty - if you click thru the link at the top left, you will reach the chat room/meeting entrance. It gives some overview information there and asks you to use a nickname to sign in. I usually do the same as here but you do not have to....key in a nickname and then hit enter, and you'll enter the chat room/meeting room. If it's not meeting time, you'll be able to see if others are available to chat looking on the right side of the screen (it lists others signed in)....
If it's during a meeting, you'll get some instructions on the screen. Basically, they are usually topic meetings, picked by the chair person. When one feels like sharing they raise their hand (using the !) and wait for the chair to introduce them. Attendees welcome sharing folks and thank them after their share.
Very much like a face to face meeting. While a meeting is going on, there are to be no interruptions. When no meeting is happening, it's a chat room - and can get busy!
HTH!!
