to exchange
information, ideas, feelings, problems and solutions on a personal
level.
The f2f meeting I had attended since May recently dissolved. It was small to begin with, but was down to only 3 of us. The time and location were ideal, so I hung in there but knew I wanted to find another group with different dynamics. One of the members told us she was leaving our group, so with only two, it dissolved. I had never requested one of them to be my sponsor, as I just didn't "feel it."
So, now I am going to a couple of different groups but have not yet found "the one." I worked steps 1-3 on my own and feel ready to move on to step 4. I know it is recommended to work this step with a sponsor for guidance and support. Can I start on my own with the hopes of getting a sponsor soon, or should I wait, as I've not worked it before?
I know we can work the program at our own pace and in our own way. There are no rules. I am just looking for opinions and guidance on this, though. Thanks!!!
Yes el, you can start on your own. We have the Step Work Board here and the 4th Step has been worked recently. Many have responded so please check it out for some indication of how to proceed.
