So sorry you are experiencing such pain. I have had back trouble for 20 years after a MVA and am now facing a surgery, also on the 20th, I had hoped to avoid. But a week ago one of my legs gave out and I cant walk comfortably. I have had multiple epidural injections like you are going to have. I know its scary but almost always you get relief from pain almost instantly with only mild discomfort from the anesthetic they inject first. The spondylosis just means you have degenerative changes in the disks and vertebrae. It happens with age. Spondylitis may be the arthritis your Doc was talking about. In any case, I need to remember to let go of my anxiety and fear and lift it up to God and stay centered in the here and now. Best of luck to you and I will pray for you before I get my anesthetic! I hope that's ok to say.
