My neighbor told me he is standing outside our front dooor, she's thinking he locked himself out...he has been standing there for 30 minutes. It's now 6:53 and I' m waiting for a cab now. I do not know what I'm going to say or do when I get home.

Now might not be the best time to talk about it if he's been drinking. I'm glad you are taking a cab and being safe.

(((Naomi))) - sorry for the way the evening turned out. My hope is that your drive was lovely and a break from the insanity of the disease, even if just for a short while. I totally understand your anger and uncertainty. My hope is you've got meetings nearby and can lean into your program to help you deal/heal from the disease.

Keep coming back - you are not alone!

I'm so sorry you had to spend your wedding anniversary in this type of misery. I guess the one good thing is that he didn't drink and drive to come pick you up and risk your life and his. I hope today can be a better day for you and you can do something for yourself to make yourself happy.
