fEELING BLUE

Just a little sat nite pity party. i have a cough/laryngitus and im so annoyed because i have an interview tuesday. All i want is a small job i can do with an average salary and somehow helping people. the world requires driving, computer skills, lifting or other degrees and other certificates. Im a smart capable friendly gal but its like no one wants to hire me...

im aware of my grateful list though, I have a terrific kind new guy, fairly good health, food, a roof and a bit of money. I have a wonderful bro in law, neice, nephew and a next door neighbor. I have this awesome board of supportive people. I saved myself from my 25 yr marriage to a ah who now is totally unable to even care for himself. his sis is taking care of him.

just a bit frustrated tonite..thanks for indulging me

alyce

I wish you luck on the job search and, if the money is not an issue, suggest that a hospital is a good place for volunteering if you want to gain some experience in the work place without actually being employed. It's just a thought and honestly not one for which I am suited, but if you are then I am certain you will find a place to meet and greet people with the companionship of like minded individuals.

Either way, I wish you luck and hope you feel better soon!

Hi there, I just want to lend a bit of moral support. From what I've seen recently, the job search is long and hard for many people, even those with lots of degrees and certifications.  But if you keep at it and don't give up, something will materialize.  You're not alone, so keep on keeping on!

I know pity can happen to us all in low times. If you ever want to borrow my pot anytime you're welcome to it, it's fur lined LOL.

I know when I get into those times I do need to reach out so that I shake myself off of it, for once experiencing a depressive episode, I know I can't go back there...just not good for me. Nothing ever looks good on my pot. One of my defects is asking or reaching out for help and I find it very difficult...something my HP is progressively changing within me.

I applaud you for reaching out. That takes real courage!!!

Try to keep positive...remember "this too shall pass" keep thinking on what you do have, how far you have come and know that your HP is there with you every step of the way. If one door closes, there is always a window to crawl through... He always provides in every way. Keep working your program, One day at a time... it will get easier <3
