The material presented
here is not Al-Anon Conference Approved Literature. It is a method
to exchange
information, ideas, feelings, problems and solutions on a personal
level.
This is the monthly Magazine of Al-Anon Family Groups and my wife and I subscribe...It is a great recovery tool for those affected by another persons drinking and using.
Some of the entries are re-printable on the net and you can get all of the entries in the publication. It ships all over the planet from AFG Inc. 1600 Corporate Landing Parkway, Virginia Beach, VA. 23454-5617. Maybe your meetings have copies of the magazine you can borrow and take home. The articles are all by us; AFG members who have come thru the storm and want to share our recovery. (((hugs)))
Great reminder Thanks Jerry.
My Home group maintains a "Forum Lending Library" that is very effective. The group subscribes and the library is kept with the alanon literature .
Thanks Jerry - we too have a library for lending of things, including the Forum. It's a good read from my experience!

Thanks for posting about the Forum. It really is a great little magazine. We have a lending library at one of my meetings as well. Each month our meeting receives the latest copy.
There are articles from the newest Forum posted at the official Alanon website so members can actually read a few to get a sense of what the magazine is all about!

I also appreciate The Forum and have my own subscription to it. It's like a gift that comes in the mail each month, in a plain envelope. I'm always a bit surprised when I pick up the mail, look at this plain white envelope, and think, "Wait, who is sending me mail from Virginia Beach, VA?"' ... few seconds pause .. "Oh, now I remember! It's those nice Al-Anon people." Always cheers me up.
