Grateful for In Person Alanon Meetings

I attended an Alanon meeting this week where the topic was the Alanon Concepts.  The Concepts are not often a suggested topic and I was so grateful someone rather new to the program chose to explore the meaning of each of the Concepts and share what they'd learned with the rest of us. It was a gift to receive their sharing and to see a newcomer so excited about the Alanon program that they were willing to tackle such a tough topic.  Always something new to learn about the Alanon program. Hmmm, confuse thinking about what I might sign up to share about. I could have a growth spurt!!

I'm going to keep coming back biggrin Thanks for letting me share with you.

Have you been to a great in person Alanon meeting too?  TT

Hey TT - great share and great question!!! My weekly Wednesday group discusses a tradition each month, as well as a step each month and then either 2 or 3 (depending upon the month) Al-anon topics....I love it - we have a great group and newcomers often. I would be a basket-case without my weekly meetings and those that I love and respect present and willing to share their ESH with me......it's one of the best parts of my program!

So glad that you had an awesome meeting and so glad that you're here too! (((Hugs)))
