I can understand your concern regarding your partner's consumption of alcohol and have found that if someone else's drinking disturbs me, it is up to me to find the supportive community in which I can express my concerns and receive support and constructive tools to live by. Al-Anon is that program.
Face-to-face meetings are held in most communities and the hotline number can be found in the white pages. Alcoholism is a chronic, progressive, fatal diseases that can be arrested but never cured. Since we are powerless over this disease, as we did not cause it, cannot control it, and cannot cure it, the best hope we have is to seek support for ourselves. Al-Anon provided me with an area where I could break the isolation caused by living with the disease, a place to practice what I was learning and new concepts to live by.
I urge you to search out these meetings and to keep coming back. There is hope.
