some of my co-dependent relapse signs

Well, thank you school bus driver for bringing some of my sickness to my attention again in order to take action. I still fear the elephant and close my eyes. Then I procrastinate. Then I spend days, weeks, months and years still closing my eyes and panicking because the elephant gets bigger and bigger and has babies. I swat at the elephant. Sometimes hit, sometimes miss. Sometimes I get brave and run up and kick it before closing my eyes tighter. Oh I have a lot of alanon housekeeping to do. Thankyou so so so much for being here mip.

Great awareness and acceptance A41 . I can readily identify and am pleased that we can now "see" because our eyes are open with alanon tools and we are no longer stuck in fear.
Thanks for sharing the journey.

I too get it.....and can so relate! You are doing well realizing the elephant, and talking it over and through. Every time I have a reminder of a defect, I am so glad that progress, not perfection floats into my brain. I am truly grateful that I no longer have to chase perfect - I can be happy and at peace with progress.

(((Hugs))) - great awareness and great share!

Its such a thing, fear. I have also recently been trying to sort out unpaid child support, seven years worth of it. That's a pretty big elephant. I made one payment and have been emailing the agency in the hope of getting regular payments and debts sorted out. When I sit down at My laptop I start getting these intense migraines, nausea, and incredible physical pain. Funnily, after I'd finished the complaint and the latest email, the headache vanished. Now ive just got to finish the bankruptcy paperwork and try hard to keep remembering that god has a plan always. Please hold me in your prayers, because I'm a bit like the lion in the wizard of oz. Thankyou for your support.
