Me and my tool box

Hi-I just wanted to share a short example of how alanon is in my head in the most wonderful and desirable way.  I got into a discussion with my A last evening about her drinking last weekend when she was so nasty.  It started out OK but quickly got detoured.  She was herself-lying, denial, and I was BRIEFLY my old self getting disappointed and agitated.  I started having a conversation with myself about how to end this talk now, I can't get what I want or need, she is she and I am ME!  I re-directed myself because happily everything I'm learning in alanon was there in my brain speaking to me!  It was so great!!biggrin  I hope everyone has a lovely Sunday, Lyne
