Almost all love songs sound dreadfully codependent to me now. The idea of suffering horribly in the name of love just isn't romantic anymore somehow, is it?

Great one......and I agree - most all the love songs are riddled with co-dependency! I'm glad to know I'm not the only one that 'hears that' - if you believe the love songs, "Love Hurts....."

I agree! The good thing about music is, if we don't like the song that's playing on the radio, we can change the channel. Maybe "Change the music" could be a new Alanon slogan.
